Entry to EYFS Sep 2025
Come and visit our lovely school if you are looking for a space in EYFS for September 2025.
We are very proud of our Rainbow Class, led by Miss Gorham. We have a beautiful classroom and EYFS have their own outdoor space which was refurbished last year. We are lucky enough to have our very own Forest School on the school grounds and each week the children will spend half a day in the great outdoors where they are taught to use tools, light campfires safely and cook on the open fire and in the pizza oven. The children visit Forest School all year round so they can learn about the outdoor environment throughout all the seasons.
Behaviour in our school is outstanding. We use the Good to be Green behaviour system and children are rewarded with a green “I’ve Been Green All Week” sticker on a Friday. Children are also rewarded for demonstrating our core values: Compassion, Hope, Community.
Many of our children attend Breakfast Club which runs daily from 7:30am each morning and we also have an After School Club which runs until 6pm by an outside provider. Please follow the link for more details: http://playplace.org/
Mental Health and Well-being is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that if a child is not emotionally well, they are not going to learn. We have therefore set up our own Emotional Well-being Pathway which supports pupils, parents and staff. We also have our own school counsellor one day a week who can offer individual counselling sessions for pupils. In July 2024 we gained our award for being a Nurture UK School.
We would love to show you round our amazing school.
