Our Aims:
At Hawkhurst CE Primary we create an inclusive, friendly, safe and engaging learning environment, which is inspired by the example of Jesus, enabling children to navigate obstacles, fulfil their potential and extend their horizons.

Our vision is anchored in the example and teaching of Jesus: Matthew 5:1-16
During the Sermon on the Mount, found in the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus addresses a crowd and reveals eight blessings (known as The Beatitudes). He then goes on to talk to the crowd about salt and light.
Jesus explains: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
