We had such a lovely wellbeing day in school yesterday. We thought you would like to share some of the photographs from our special day.

We started at 7:50am with our family breakfast. Thank you so much to the 148 of you who came to this and thank you to our amazing staff who helped to organise it.

Bowles Lodge
We then had a group of children from across the school who went to visit residents at Bowles Lodge to engage in some wellbeing activities together.

Offical Opening
Mr Simon Curd our Vice Chair of Governors then came in and officially opened our new Wellbeing room which has been named “The Nest”.

In the afternoon the children had a wellbeing session in each classroom, so got to meet all of the staff. The sessions included yoga, mindfulness breathing, singing, drumming, and art work.

Staff Drumming
At the end of the day our staff came together for a wellbeing drumming workshop, which was so much fun.

Thank you to Tesco in Hawkhurst who provided all the fruit. The rest of the food was bought by the school as a thank you to our parents and pupils for your ongoing support.
