Class Teachers – Mrs Thompson

TA : Mrs Maynard
1-1 TA : Mrs Harper & Mrs Allen

Welcome

Hello from Mrs Thompson

I joined Hawkhurst CEP school in 2019, having previously had a career in business before deciding to become a teacher.

I have a real passion for history; I enjoy bringing it to life for children and developing their skills in asking questions of the past and being history detectives. I love to find games to help children learn and I really enjoy exploring new vocabulary with the children. This is such a great age for soaking up new words and learning how to use them!

In my spare time I love gardening, cycling, reading and music.

Mrs Maynard is the TA for Yellow class and has worked at Hawkhurst for 6 years. Mrs Harper and Mrs Allen will be also be joining the class as 1-1 Teaching Assistants this year.
