Class Teachers – Miss Gorham

TA : Mrs Rogers
TA : Miss Harper
TA : Miss Hodsall

Welcome

Hello from Miss Gorham

Miss Gorham is an NQT teacher who is beginning her career at Hawkhurst CEP School. She has a passion for a creative curriculum following the belief ‘children learn when they are having fun’ which extends particularly in her teaching of Maths and Art. Coming from a large family with 15 nieces and nephews, she spent a number of years caring and teaching through creative and sensory activities and it was this experience which ignited a passion for Primary teaching.

Miss Gorham has a dog named Kylo which you will often hear her talking about. We are lucky enough to have two TA’s in Red class, Mrs Rogers and Miss Harper. Miss Harper works as a 1:1 TA to which she is enthusiastic and creative in developing sensory activities designed to further knowledge and understanding. She has a passion for animals and enjoys horse riding and cooking.

Mrs Rogers is the class TA and has worked with children for 25 years, initially at toddler group and progressing onto Nursery school. Following this she has worked in Key Stage 1 and 2 in all class. She particularly enjoys teaching children to read and has been instrumental in creating the Key Stage 1 library.
