As we approach the end of Term 5, there are several new events which are listed on the attached date list (these are highlighted in yellow) and an explanation of each event has been written.
Well done to Year 6 for working so hard in their SATs. I hope they enjoy half term and are looking forward to their residential visit to Norfolk in June.
Reminder as the weather is warming up, please apply sun cream before children come to school, send hats and water bottles.
Inspire to Compete Club on Tuesdays, 3.30pm to 4.20pm is a school funded club run by Premier Sport. The aim of this club is to prepare pupils for forthcoming sports events. We hope to select participants for sports events from this club. Different sports are taught according the tournament planned for that term.A message from Kent Libraries, Registration and Archives – this year’s Summer Reading Challenge – Animal Agents – will run in all Kent libraries from 15 July until 16 September. The aim of the Challenge is for children to read six books during the summer holidays, collecting stickers and rewards along the way. All children completing the Challenge will receive a medal and certificate. Flyers will be sent in due course.
Granny and Ben will be visiting Tunbridge Wells library on Wednesday 21 June 2017, 4.45 – 5.15pm. We are hosting a live Q&A and reading with characters from the Assembly Hall Theatre production of David Walliams’ Gangsta Granny. There will also be the chance to make a Gangsta mask!
