Dear Parents/Carers

Crib Service – Saturday 24 December at 5.30pm

Rehearsals – Thursday 22, Friday 23 and Saturday 24
December, all at 10am – 11.30am. Please try and attend as many as possible. Those taking part, please be in church for the service by 4.45pm.

Christmas Fair – what a fantastic Fair we had last Friday! A huge thank you to all those who organised, participated and attended. We raised over £1000. The children really want us to provide them with an outside soft surface area for gymnastic practice at playtime.

Christmas  Bottle Decoration – we have had so many inventive and imaginative decorations on a plastic bottle. Judging will take place before the end of term.

KS2 Bake Off – we had a brilliant response to our Bake Off Competition, judged by Miss Susanne Rock. The winners of the Volcanic Biscuits were Cassie Jones and Grace Harbert – congratulations!
Achievement Board – don’t forget to bring in children’s certificates after Christmas.

Hawkhurst Times! Latest edition will be published shortly, thank you to Mr Fifield for producing another excellent copy.

Events Between Now and the End of Term – there have been some changes so please ignore previous dates/times

Wednesday 14 December 2.00pm – Nativity Rocks by Red and Orange Classes

No tickets required, just turn up.

At the end of the performance, please wait in the hall

and your child will be brought back to you once they have changed.

A collection will be taken for our charity “Tear Fund”.

Thursday 15 December 9.30am – Nativity Rocks by Red and Orange Classes

No tickets required, just turn up.

A collection will be taken for our charity “Tear Fund”.

Thursday 15 December House Point winners this term can wear own clothes. Winners were Normans (Yellow).
Monday 19 December 2.00pm Rainbow Activity Afternoon for Rainbow parents in the school hall. Children in Rainbow can wear home clothes all day.

Parties for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Violet classes (change of date).
Your class teacher will inform you about party food and party clothes, onesies etc.

Tuesday 20 December Christmas Jumpers may be worn over school uniform – no charge and this is optional.

Rainbow Class party in the morning. Mrs Elmes
will tell you about party food and party clothes.

Tuesday 20 December Christmas Lunch.
Wednesday 21 December 10.00am – Scrooge the Christmas pantomime for children – Cost of £1 per child
Wednesday 21 December 2.30pm – Carol Service at St Laurence Church.

All children will be taking part. We will be leaving school at 1.45pm, if you would like to walk up to church with us. Lunches will be served as normal, but packed lunches should be brought in a disposable bag, so the children do not have to carry anything up to church. No book bags this day. Children will dismissed from church at 3.15pm.
